McCoy Returns

January 25th, 2012 | Posted by Racing Horse Tips in Betting Tips | No Comments

Tony McCoy returns to the saddle on Thursday for one ride in a bumper at one of the oldest racecourses in the country Warwick.

McCoy, who is the 16 time champion jockey, fractured ribs and punctued a lung falling at Taunton on December 30th. The flat course at Warwick and a bumper are ideal to test out his fitness and see if his body is ready for more serious action.

He will be riding for Nicky Henderson aboard Key To The West and no doubt can’t wait as it is well known he hates not riding when injured.

Success

The Australian Open tennis bet we gave, odds against in a two horse race duly obliged as expected and the football bet that we felt was too short to give out as a bet also won.

Our Lay Bets continue to make a profit and even on days when some of our selections win we still make a small profit.

The Insider Bet of the Day that we gave out yesterday duly obliged very easily.

Profitable Day

The Insider Bet of the Day wins, advised when 9/2 Rajaan crossed the line easily in front at a final SP of 7/2, which as we were also able to take advantage of 11/10 for a place proved to be a profitable day.

Our lay bets also produced a small profit to end our first week over £130 in profit if aiming to win just £10 per bet.

No midweek football with unpredictable cup games throughout Europe and no Friday football selections either, the only game of interest was in the Belgium Jupiler League – GENK v St Truiden but at odds of around 1.34 we can’t entertain that.

Australian Open – Feliciano Lopez to beat John Isner tonight who was carrying an injury in his last game a tough 5 set victory against an opponent ranked 87. The 17 ranked Isner might come unstuck tonight against big serving Lopez, ranked 19 and ay odds of 2.18 is worth a bet.

Lay profits

January 18th, 2012 | Posted by Racing Horse Tips in Horse Racing Tips | No Comments

Our new laying service produced lay profits of 2.75 points yesterday and lay profits of 1 point today from 7 bets taking our lay profits to nearly 13 points is less than a week.

The Stats bets are also showing a profit and our stable views keep chipping in with winners plus highlighting some horses to avoid or lay.

All in all there is a lot of value for such a small price, a price we may have to increase very soon.

Lots of cup football this week so no games to interest us after our 23 point winning weekend last Friday and Saturday.

There is only one game that would interest us before Saturday and that is in the Belgium Jupiler League on Friday but the price on GENK to beat St Truiden at 1.38 is too short to be worth a bet.

Happy punting

Stats Bet & Lay Bet wins again

January 16th, 2012 | Posted by Racing Horse Tips in Horse Racing Tips | No Comments

The new Stats bet wins to make it 2 from 3 and the first 2 lay bets today are both successful as Goring One 8/11 and Auntie Kathryn lose their respective races at Plumpton and Wolverhampton.

How does a lay bet work?

Well you are effectively the bookmaker offering odds for someone else to take but you limit the amount you will pay out.

Let’s say you wanted to win £10

You log in to your Betfair or other exchange account, select horse racing and then the 2.10 at Plumpton.

You would see two sets of prices, one are the backing prices (backing a horse to win) and one set are the lay prices (for a horse to lose).

You click on the lay price and in Betfair on the right hand side a box appears. Here you can change the price to whatever you want so if you want to offer shorter odds you simply type in the odds you are going to offer and put a stake, in our case £10 (your stake is how much you want to win if the horse loses).

Betfair will display in red under the horses name on the left of the screen how much you stand to lose (pay out if the horse wins) and in green under all the other horses how much you will win if any one of them wins the race.

The ability here is to lay horses at short prices that you think will lose, however that is not as easy as it appears so that’s where we come in. laying horses is a totally different mindset to backing horses and we can take the hassle out of it by doing all the research for you and just telling you which horses to lay..

Goring One was 8/11 so we risked losing only £7.27 to win £10, backing at the same odds with the same level of stake we risked losing £10 to win £7.27 so we have risked less money and won more money on the same horse!

Join the Insider Bet of the Day Service and you get all our bets, the stats bet (2 from 3), the lay bets (now 15 from 16) and our football bets (+23 points this weekend).
