Whilst there is a word for 4/1 Viking Rose 4.30 Brighton it is a competitive race with at present 8 runners, Bobby Doll 7/2 5.30 takes a drop in grade but not a particularly strong word. At Musselburgh in the first race at 2.15 First Fast Now 11/8 looks to face his easiest task to date although there is a bit of a word for Angel of Hope and also a small word forBlown It a 7/2 shot in the following race at 2.45

The football tonight looks risky so stakes to a minimum. A draw at half time between Lyon and Rubin Kazan is probably the best bet on the night. Quite frankly I don’t see Rubin scoring but then I don’t see Lyon scoring either in 90 minutes!

Arsenal v Udinese would normally be a home win and may be this time but Fabregas has gone and Arsenal record only 34% league wins when he doesn’t play compared with 61% when he does which speaks volumes. Add to that Van Persie missing, Nasri, Wilshire and Eboue Udinese will never have a better chance of taking something from the game, perhaps this will be a draw at half time too.

Newbury 3.05 and Yaseer 10/1 is well fancied e/w and Hills of Dakota 5.15 Ripon 15/8 is well fancied while Enderby Spirit 3.30 looks overpriced at 38/1 on Betfair and may reward e/w punters. At Doncaster Penangdouble 5.30 Doncaster 14/1 is a small word e/w andManassas 14/1 3.45 is expected to be fighting out the finish. Star of Flight 4/1 is another in with a good chance in the 5.05 Newmarket. Taratata Sivola is expected to take advantage of a light weight in the 6.50 at Market Rasen and Via Archimede to reward place punters in the 7.50 at 14/1.

Small word for Purkab 3.30 Ayr 5/1 but nothing strong, the same goes e/w for Like A Boy 8.30 Ffos Las 11/2 and Admiral Dundas e/w 14/1 in the 4.15 at Newton Abbot. Arctic Reach 2.15 Newton Abbot 11/10 is fancied but too short, if Lady Layla 2.00 Ayr 15/8handles the ground she should win. No Woman No Cry will be without cheekpieces and tongue tie today in the 4.45 Newton Abbot 14/1 and could grab a place.
