How to get FULL Stakes returned

Well before I tell you here is a quick follow up to this mornings post and the price comparisons we made.

The Betfred prices quoted were of course the online prices, the actual midweek football coupon in the shops is even worse;

Hull 11/8

Crystal Palace 10/11

Middlesbrough 11/10

Southampton 4/9

Brighton 6/4

West Ham 4/11

Burton 15/8

£1 on those seven teams would pay £148.28

On Betfair this morning the same 7 teams were odds of just over 290/1

That’s basically double the return for the same stake by using Betfair multiples.

I highlighted Derby at the weekend who were 11/10 on the high street bookmakers but went out to 2/1 on Betfair.

Last night Newcastle were 3/1 on Betfair yet only 15/8 if you walked into a shop. So for a £10 bet the shop would return you £28.75 and Betfair would return you £38.50 after commission.

Take the trixie given out in the earlier email on Hull, Crystal Palace and Middlesbrough. The high street prices are 11/8, 10/11 and 11/10 so your 3 doubles are at odds of 3.53/1, 3.98/1, 3/1 and the treble at odds of 9.52/1 (Iv’e rounded down).

This would give a return for £10 stakes of £200.30

What would happen if we take the Betfair odds of this morning on the same three teams (and some are slightly bigger now) of 2.66, 2.12 and 2.26 and do the same calculations.

Our same 3 doubles are at odds of 3.78/1, 5.01, 3.79/1 and the treble at odds of 11.74/1

This would give a return to the same £10 stakes of £243.20

Taking off 5% commission (£12.16) reduces this to £231.04 still nearly £31 more.

Is it the same on the horses? Yes it sure is and you can lay them not to win as well!

People wonder why bookmakers are dying, why Betfair does so well. The examples above make it as plain as can be. If you bet, you should be using Betfair, simple as that. You get far greater profit for the same money.

High street prices are poor, online prices are better but Betfair prices which are determined by customers are even better still.

League football comes from Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Estonia, Germany, India, Italy, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Uzbekistan and England.

The UK is where we will be concentrating for our football trixie bet today with West ham, Hull, Crystal Palace, Southampton, Brighton, Middlesborough and Burton being of interest.

Looking at the prices on Betfair, Hull, Crystal Palace and Middlesborough will form our football trixie bet today. Remember a football trixie bet is 3 doubles and 1 treble making 4pts staked. At £10 unit stakes our weekend returned us £350.80 profit.

The bookies 11/10 on an in form Palace lying third in the table at home to Portsmouth, as I mentioned previously the worst team in the league away from home, looks good value so a 1pt single bet on them for 5pts staked today.

Incidentally Betfred prices on all the games mentioned would amount to £212.73 for a £1 stake whereas on Betfair the payout would be around £290 so you can see it really does pay to have a Betfair account.
